Founded by Ahmed Raza, Layl Events is a proudly Canadian-owned and operated firm born from a single, uncompromising observation: in the rush of hosting, we often lose the very moments we set out to celebrate.

Ahmed’s journey began in the heart of Metro Vancouver, driven by a lifelong passion for hospitality and a rigorous academic foundation. With a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) and a Business Management Diploma, he realized that a truly memorable event requires more than just a plan; it requires an architect. From his early days managing large-scale events for 70+ guests, Ahmed has seen firsthand how professional leadership turns a logistical puzzle into a seamless masterpiece. He built this business to bring an elite level of Project Management and Consulting to the local community, ensuring every detail of an event is engineered for success.

We recognized a gap in the Metro Vancouver market for a truly turnkey, alcohol-free hospitality firm, one that allows the host to actually be the host. Our philosophy is simple: You should arrive as an attendee and leave as an attendee. From the initial idea to the final guest departure, we act as the lead architect for every logistical detail.
